🏁 CHECKPOINT PROJECT

Learning Roadmap

This checkpoint converts those hours into a defensible assessment that an executive team would actually act on.

Passing this checkpoint means you will have verified all of the following:

  • You can read a real AI deployment proposal and identify which Responsible AI principles are at stake, where the current proposal falls short, and what specific changes would close the gaps.

  • You can perform a data ethics review that names specific at-risk populations using the actual demographics in front of you, not a textbook list of protected classes.

  • You can threat-model an LLM-based system for the security risks specific to LLMs (prompt injection, training data leakage, PHI exposure through API boundaries, model extraction)

  • You can design governance and human-oversight structures with named owners, defined escalation paths, and concrete controls.

  • You can defend an AI safety recommendation to a non-technical executive audience under realistic pushback, acknowledging legitimate concerns without abandoning the position.

  • You understand the regulatory and frameworks landscape (EU AI Act risk tiers, model cards, system cards, model risk management).
